Independent Local News. Community Stories. A Closer Look at the Issues That Matter.
Beginning in Sunshine Valley and growing to serve communities throughout Electoral Area B, The Local Lens aims to keep residents informed, encourage thoughtful discussion and give local voices a place to be heard.
We’ll cover community news, local events, arts and culture, and the decisions that affect our daily lives.
Through our FVRD Watch feature, we’ll examine upcoming regional government decisions, explain what they mean for residents, and ask questions when greater transparency is needed.
Our goal is simple: to provide factual, independent reporting, encourage community participation, and help neighbours stay connected.
Because an informed community is a stronger community.
